ever luxurious and decadent: Mr E.

this is a loose idea for my card, obviously, it's too detailed and will be simplified up, but I couldn't help myself to keep adding on shit, you're lucky I stopped at the strange thistle-esque candelabra.

as for his next appearance, he should show up in about another four pages in 'Mufindi's Tale' if memory serves.

This is lovely and I really like his pose! So relaxed and proud!
Might I suggest however that perhaps you make the background a different colour? Perhaps another luxurious colour such as deep red or green? Simply because at the moment Mr E dissolves a little into the background with that purple suit of his and he doesn't really stand out an awful lot, if you were to take something similar to this as a card I think he'd need to be a little more vibrant against the background to break it up a little and give it more depth :
Just a thought hon, I also happen to really like the candelabra next to the bed! Beautifully designed :heart:

I thought about him and you yesterday, I discovered "The Princess and the Frog" new videos, here => [link]
The villain, Dr Facilier, reminds me a lot of Mr E. or Clopin by his body, design, and the New Orleans, the colors... reminded me of Mufundi's Tales, so I wanted to share ^^

Looks like Disney/Dreamworks animation stockart. Great work as always.

As for the background...I think the colour kind of fits with E's personality. So much ego everything in HIS room has to look like HIM. He blends in with the background a little, yeah, but the effect kind of suits him. Gives him a really ghostly pressence.
