sorry guys, got out of the groove. partly cause the first ones where so much fun it was easy to think of scenes that i wanted to do.
Incredibles. it was longer and felt very adult to me. it was, i think more intelligent than those that preceded it and i loved the premise of the film and the design and the look of it all.
having said that, it's not a film that i would watch over and over even though it did produce some great characters, like Synodrome. who was the narcissistic anti hero whose movement and dialogue was so fluid. i find myself feeling kinda sorry for him even though he did undoubtedly deserve what he got, he's still this little boy wanting some attention.
Cars...man what can i say. i HATE drawing Cars, and i was equally not enamored with this movie. i'm not doing this on purpose but when i was looking back on it, and it's a recent movie so i didn't need to watch it again, i couldn't think of a single scene that would make me watch this movie again. that sounds really harsh, but i just felt that because it was a movie about inanimate objects they had to work off stereotypes way more than in previous movies. and even though it was a cartoon, and i knew that to some extent they would have to do that it just felt way too forced for me.
but i did draw Lightning, and this wasn't my first drawing either....i told you, it's very hard for me to draw cars, it just doesn't work on any grid that i work on.
wow, these two cents are getting longer!! sorry bout that.
SYNDROME!!!!!!!....hun i love you for this and i also agree with you......Cars isnt up there for me....but i did enjoy The Incredibles......oh yeah 2 words ........."JACK JACK"...he just too cute^^ hun im loving these please keep em goin^^

It's funny...it seems that you (generally speaking) either were a fan of "Cars" or "The Incredibles". I loved "The Incredibles" but when I saw "Cars" that become more of a personal favorite. I just found it so funny and witty which is something I didn't see much of in "The Incredibles". I really like both movies thou and it's understandable how a movie about inanimate objects can throw people off. Kinda how I felt about "Toy Story". I still cannot manage to watch that movie again. It bored me to tears.
i love the incredibles! and syndrome is my fav. ^^
and cars was...well, cars.

"The Incredibles" is one of my fave Pixar films that my whole family loves to watch because of its James Bond-esque/ superhero theme. Syndrome was an excellent character in the film just because he portrays all the qualities of every type of supervillain, plus his dialogue was great.
"Cars" was an interesting film to see (I've only seen it twice), but the animation was impressive to see as they gave life to inanimate objects and turned it into a fictional world. (I loved the part when they parodied all the Pixar movies with car characters and the fact that Mac's voice actor played a character of all the films.)

the soundtrack for Incredibles was extremely important for the movie and like Ratatouille was the amazingly talented Michael Giacchino. the guy's a freeking genius! the only laughs that the movie had for me came from the interaction with Synodrome. he's a fanboy gone wrong, surely a warning sign for every freeky fanboy out there. keep an eye on them.

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
